My journey into myofunctional therapy began when my daughter was born with a post natal diagnosis of Down Syndrome. Because of the genetic physical traits that come with Down Syndrome, she immediately faced challenges like a weak latch and tongue thrust, which led me to search for answers and discover the transformative power of myofunctional therapy. It didn’t take long for me to realize how essential this work was—not only for improving her muscle tone and swallow patterns but also for preventing future issues like speech delays, respiratory conditions and ear infections.
With a professional background as both a dental hygienist and fitness trainer, paired with my personal experience as a mother, I’ve developed a deep passion for helping individuals of “all” abilities. I believe in retraining the neuromuscular connections in the face and mouth to support proper breathing, encourage optimal craniofacial growth, maintain healthy jaw joints, and enhance functional chewing and swallowing. Early intervention is key to helping our children grow with optimal airway and overall health.
With twenty years of dental hygiene experience and five years in the fitness industry, I am passionate to improving quality of life through holistic, muscle-based therapies. Excited to be a small part of your airway journey!

Hi! My name is Gabby and I am a Myofunctional Therapist at Upside Down Frown Care. I began my career in dentistry back in 2000 and quickly discovered how much I loved helping people feel confident and healthy through their smiles. That passion inspired me to continue growing in the field, becoming a Registered Dental Hygienist in 2009 and later expanding into Myofunctional Therapy in 2023. Over the years, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for the connection between oral health, breathing, and overall wellness, and I truly enjoy helping patients discover how small changes can make a big difference in their daily lives. I feel so grateful to help patients achieve better balance and function every day.
Outside of work, I’m a proud wife to my husband of 18 years and mom to our two amazing teenage daughters. Our favorite times are spent together doing things we love, whether it’s cooking for family and friends, having game night, swimming in our pool, or heading outdoors for a weekend of hiking or camping.
I truly believe that genuine care, a little laughter, and personal connection make all the difference in creating positive, lasting results. My goal is to create a comfortable, encouraging space where patients feel supported and inspired on their path toward better health and function.
